「『BIG GAME’79 HIDEKI』収録曲。『エピタフ』は、1969年に発表されたキング・クリムゾンのデビュー・アルバム『クリムゾン・キングの宮殿』収録曲。そのカバー曲。コンサート時、雷雨の中でも決行された。間奏の激しい雨の音や（決してノイズではない）、大きな音の雷は効果音ではなく本物である。ヒデキはそんな中、雷に打たれ感電しながらも歌い切った。
この事実が多くの人に知られるようになったのはヒデキ没後であった。ヒデキ渾身の一曲。フルコーラスは8分である。ヒデキ24歳」

The song is from “Big Game ’79 HIDEKI”. Epitaph” is a song from King Crimson’s debut album The Palace of the Crimson King, released in 1969. Its cover song. The concert was held during a thunderstorm at the time of the concert. The sound of the heavy rain during the interlude (which is by no means noise) and the loud thunder are not sound effects, but the real thing. Hideki sang the song despite being struck by lightning and electrocuted.
It was not until after Hideki’s death that this fact became known to many people. Hideki’s best song. The full chorus is eight minutes long. Hideki was 24 years old.
