西城秀樹の還暦記念として60歳の誕生日に発売され、歴代のヒット曲を新たにレコーディングしたセルフカバー・アルバムである。
セルフカバー・アルバムは『PLANETS – 30th Anniversary 12 Songs -』（2001年発売）以来。
「めぐり逢い」（2006年発売）以来、3120日（8年と200日）ぶりの新曲「蜃気楼」(バンド「Battle Cry」が2010年に発表した楽曲のカバー)が最後に収録されている。
本作品は、通常盤、ブックレット付き完全限定盤、DVD付き完全限定盤の3形態で発売されている。
本作発売後、作品の発売が無いまま2018年5月16日に西城は死去したため、本作が西城の生前最後の作品となり、前記の「蜃気楼」は最後の新曲となった。
西城秀樹は生涯アーティストであった。ヒデキ60歳。大病を乗り越えた渾身の歌声である。

“Released on Hideki Saijo 60th birthday to commemorate his 60th birthday, this is a self cover album of newly recorded hit songs from his career.
This is the first self-cover album since “PLANETS – 30th Anniversary 12 Songs -” (released in 2001).
The last song on the album is “Mirage” (a cover of a song released by the band Battle Cry in 2010), their first new song since “Meguriai” (released in 2006), which took 3120 days (8 years and 200 days).
This work is available in three forms: a standard edition, a complete limited edition with booklet, and a complete limited edition with DVD.
After the release of this work, Saijo passed away on May 16, 2018 without any works being released, so this work was the last work by Saijo before his death, and the aforementioned “Mirage” was the last new song.”
Hideki Saijo was an artist all his life. Hideki was 60 years old. He sang with all his might after overcoming a serious illness.
