『友情』から生まれる葛藤の曲。友人と『同じ女性を愛する』青年が苦渋の決断をし身を引く。真の友情を選んだ結果、女性の心情を察し諦めざるを得ない状況。その後彼は身を引き裂かれる想いをしながら悲しみを乗り越えようとし『友』に心の中で別れを告げた。

後半からのリピート部分は転調の嵐。高音も難なく歌い上げ、そこは流石一流アーティスト。ヒデキ24歳」

A song about the conflicts that arise from “friendship. A young man who “loves the same woman” as his friend makes a difficult decision to step aside. He chooses true friendship, and as a result, he has to give up on her because of his feelings for her. He then tries to overcome his grief with the feeling of being torn apart and says goodbye to his “friend” in his heart.
The repeating part from the latter half of the song was a storm of modulation. He sang high notes without any difficulty, and he is a top-notch artist. Hideki is 24 years old.

SONGSの順番から言えば「TAKE IT EASY」なのですが、念の為ググった結果「悲しき友情」のカップリング曲と知りました。
「悲しき友情」はSonyさんで販売されているCDの内（DVD除く）収録されているのはHIDEKI 80’S・UNFORGETTABLE [DISC:2]のみです。
私はUNFORGETTABLEしか持っていないのでそこから抜粋しました。（この曲も昨日初めて？聴いたように思います。YouTubeの関連動画に出てこなかったのが不思議です）
